Henan Data Center Equipment Supply
Hubei Huayi Electric (Group) Co., Ltd., as the electrical equipment supplier for the Henan Digital Central Plains Big Data Center project, formally signed a project cooperation agreement on May 25, 2021. As a key project of the "Digital Henan" initiative, this project will initially form a "digital foundation" supporting Henan's new infrastructure, accelerate the intelligent operation of the economy and society, and help Henan become an innovation hub in central and western China.
It is understood that the project has a planned construction area of approximately 150,000 square meters, with a total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan. It will include three large data centers and seven micro data centers, with 10,000 cabinets built to national Class A standards, equipped with high-level firewalls and dedicated power supply lines, accommodating no fewer than 150,000 high-performance computing servers. Upon completion, the project will enhance Zhengzhou's status as an information distribution center and communications network exchange hub, providing strong support for the development of emerging information industries such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, 5G, and smart cities.
Before the contract was signed, Huayi Electric secured the project bid amidst numerous bidding competitions, offering superior quality, price, and service. Following the project's successful bid, Huayi Electric immediately convened a production coordination meeting. Chairman Chen Guochun emphasized the importance of maintaining a tight timeline, ensuring quality and technical standards are met, and ensuring the production targets are met with guaranteed quality and quantity.
The project involved nearly 100 units of equipment of various types and models, including MVnexHP high-voltage distribution cabinets and DC panels. After the production plan was finalized, and particularly due to the impact of the pandemic, the company strategically planned component procurement, product inspection, and logistics. Equipment delivery, construction, and installation were completed in three batches. Joint commissioning and testing of all products were reportedly completed by December 14th.
